CHINA, JIN YANG MIXED USE EXHIBITIONS VILLAGE, GUIYANG

Program required a major regional exhibition halls, convention center, hotels to be situated
at the edge of 100 meters set back from a major roadway. The set back, at the sloped portion of the site required to be a public park covering a major underground shopping center and associated parking and services. Program also required low and high rise residential community. As a buffer , between the exhibition complex and residential community, we proposed a mixed -use office, retail and urban center village to smooth
the urban transition and create a sense of place and opportunities to offer rich Spaces-in-Between. Ecological Urbanism and Sustainability principles, integrating with sloped topography offered water conservation system , pedestrian/ bike/transit network, green and continuous urban corridors created a rich livable place with regional attractions.
